Companies need to have their enterprise class systems share data and interact throughout the business process. For instance often development teams use a tool like DevOps or JIRA to track their processes but the rest of the company uses Service Now. A user may report an application bug that gets escalated to the Development team. The user will want regular updates on the process but wont usually have access the the DevOps management system. In addition the Development team may have questions for the user.
An integration developed by Bock would allow the Service Desk technician the ability to create a DevOps ticket that is linked to the user created Service Now ticket. These two tickets could share comment and status information through the resolution life cycle. The Development team can ask questions and get responses from the user. The user can see the progress of the work. Each team would only have to use the tool that they are most familiar with.
